About this Event
In many financial markets, market analysis and corporate
valuations seem more to be about luck than metrics. However,
increasingly stringent regulatory and corporate governance
requirements are changing this vital area. Since recent
news of financial misreporting by firms like Enron,Worldcom
and Xerox, the pressure to provide accurate financial reports
and better valuation models and analyses has increased.
While some may observe that such increased regulatory requirements
have not yet made their way to the Middle East, it is clear
that Middle Eastern enterprises operating globally must
adhere to such guidelines.
AAFM’s Financial Analyst Certification course endeavors
to examine both the operation of markets at a macro level
and the analysis of corporate performance from financial
statements and from a secondary research perspective.
While many courses focus on trending techniques and attempts
to track the fluctuations of the market itself, this course
focuses on the relationship between financial statements
and the performance of a company within equity markets and
related valuations.
It presents invaluable tools and techniques for both those
involved in preparation of corporate statements and for
market analysts who analyse such statements, along with
specialist areas like M&As, regulatory frameworks and
debt versus equity markets.
This exciting programme is presented by an AAFM Certified
Trainer and Profesor who will share the skills and knowledge
that are needed in order to compete successfully in both
the brokerage and corporate environment.
